| Oh nOOOO! Found a tiny crack in a weld on the frame of my Kikapu. On the basis of this photo (right) the nice people at Paligap (UK distributor for Kona) have agreed to replace the chainstay. Sadly my old bike shop (Guildford Cycles) is no longer with us. Anyway I took the frame to Nirvana Cycles in Westcott. They seemed very nice and are checking the frame for any other cracks. Nirvana have a good reputation and Paligap have been very helpful so hopefully this will all work out fine. So we'll see what happens... To see Kikapu in happier days go to my gallery click. |
